服事上最大的安慰之一，就是我們不需要用成績來評定自己的價值。

我們努力服事，不是因為我們期待所作出的成果會使神更喜歡我們、更賜福我們、更賞賜我們，而是因為神已經喜悅我們。

祂的愛不會因為我的表現不好而減少，也不會因為我的表現好而增多。

祂的愛，是我們服事的確據，不是我們服事所要獲取的目標。

 

One of the greatest comforts for serving God is that we don’t need to judge our values through grades. We serve earnestly in ministry not because we expect God to like us more, bless us more, or give us more but because God has favored us already. His love will not decrease a bit for our bad performance; will not gain because we are well behaved. His love is the assurance for us to serve; not the goal we try to obtain in serving.
